Tucson, Arizona – October 25, 2026

Alio IT released RouteOptimizer, an open-source tool for planning haul-truck movements over a mine shift. A* search builds a dispatch. A mixed-integer shift plan, solved with PuLP and the open-source CBC solver, covers the whole mine. A small neural network, trained on solver traces, ranks legal moves, and the solvers produce the proven plan.

The project is MIT licensed. The source, sample scenarios, and a Docker image are on GitHub. A model card with the dispatch-policy checkpoint, and a dataset of synthetic scenarios, are on Hugging Face.
